• A NaTran-operated line ruptured Friday near the Saint-Rémy-de-Provence aerodrome, with witnesses reporting a loud blast, a smoke plume and prolonged gas release.
• About 11,000 GRDF customers are without gas, including roughly 9,000 in southern Vaucluse and 1,890 in the north of Bouches-du-Rhône.
• The damaged section has been isolated and secured, and around 40 GRDF and NaTran staff are mobilized from Châteaurenard to manage repairs and alternative supply options.
• Restoration will be phased over several days, with public establishments and priority households addressed first.
