- Afterward, García Harfuch led a convoy to Uruapan for talks with Mayor Grecia Quiroz, following the group's arrival in Morelia aboard a Mexican Air Force helicopter.
- Morelia Mayor Alfonso Martínez Alcázar urged sustained support to purge and professionalize local police with vetting, equipment, training, patrols and funding, and called for stronger capacity at the FGE.
- Ramírez Bedolla welcomed federal backing from President Claudia Sheinbaum and said state Security Secretary Juan Carlos Oseguera Cortés will remain in his post.
