• Eddin Emerson Chilcho Villanueva was identified as the informal colectivo driver shot while covering the Gran Chimú–Trujillo route in El Porvenir.
• Assailants on a motorcycle intercepted his car near the Víctor Raúl Haya de la Torre area and fired through the driver’s window around 7:30 p.m.
• Municipal serenazgo and the National Police transported him to Hospital Santa Isabel, where he was pronounced dead.
