Overview

• The festivities opened this morning with the Tío de la Porra ceremony as the mayor granted symbolic command and the bands toured schools and neighborhoods.
• The municipal program lists 143 activities, including 39 concerts, 45 street-theatre performances and 19 traditional acts across the city.
• All festival concerts are free, and the Música a la Plaça series has moved to Plaza del Prado with capacity expanded to 1,500.
• Family offerings expand with La Plaça del Joc in Plaza de la Vila and a children’s minidisco scheduled in Plaza Mayor.
• Core events run October 3–6 with Teatro Serrano hosting Yllana’s We Love Disco (Oct 3–4), El Mago Invisible (Oct 5) and Glatir’s Circ d’Hivern (Oct 6), while rides at Parque Ausiàs March continue through October 12.
