UK's largest video game retailer, GAME, is reportedly planning to stop accepting trade-ins and selling pre-owned games starting February 16, 2024.
The decision to stop trade-ins is part of a shift in strategy by GAME's parent company, Frasers Group, which has been focusing more on selling toys, board games, and collectables.
Pre-owned games will continue to be sold in GAME stores until stocks run out.
The move is expected to leave CEX as the only major high street chain offering a game trade-in service.
