- Patch 1.0.2 enables a live Mystery Gift titled “Shine Bright Like a Gemstone” that grants the Diancite Mega Stone starting November 6.
- To claim it, update the game, open Link Play, select Mystery Gift, choose Get via Internet, and redeem the event entry.
- Access to Diancie is post‑game, with the side mission unlocked at the Looker Bureau by speaking to Emma’s Espurr and then pursuing Mimi to the encounter.
- After catching Diancie, giving it the Diancite allows Mega Evolution during battle.
- An internet connection and Nintendo Switch Online are required to redeem the gift, and VICE reports the distribution has no set end date as it tees up the Mega Dimension DLC on December 10.
