Overview
- The incident was reported just before 7 a.m. Monday near the 900 block of 28th Street in Galveston, where a man allegedly grabbed the student from behind.
- The girl told officers she bit the attacker twice, broke free, and ran to Central Middle School, and police said she was not injured.

- Investigators obtained video from a business in the 1000 block of 24th Street that shows the student walking followed shortly by a man on the same path.
