Overview

• On September 25, 2025, Ricardo Gallardo Cardona presented his Fourth Informe at Tamazunchale’s Unidad Deportiva, becoming the first San Luis Potosí governor to do so there.
• He outlined planned works for 2026, including a MetroRed route from Tamazunchale to Ciudad Valles, the Tlalixco–Zapotitla bridge, a push with the federal government for the Tamuín airport, the Valles–Tampico superhighway and a proposed riviera Huasteca.
• The administration framed the package as a connectivity and tourism boost for the Huasteca, with several projects still in planning and dependent on intergovernmental coordination.
• Gallardo cited state figures of more than 24 billion pesos invested in infrastructure and over 63 billion pesos overall, claiming support to over one million households and 340,000 people exiting poverty.
