Galaxy S26 FE Certified With 45W Fast Charging

The UL Demko entry confirms faster wired charging for the FE model and sharpens expectations for its hardware and timing.

Overview

  • A UL Demko certification listing reported Wednesday records charging profiles of 15.0V/3.0A and 10.0V/4.5A, which corresponds to 45W wired fast charging for the Galaxy S26 FE.
  • The same certification lists a family of S26 FE model numbers, including SM-S741W, SM-S741U1, SM-S741U, SM-S741B/DS, SM-S741B and SM-S741N, tying the entry to multiple regional variants.
  • Earlier Geekbench entries for the SM-S741U variant show the device running Android 17 with about 8GB of RAM and an Exynos 2500 processor that posted 2,426 single-core and 8,004 multi-core scores.
  • The confirmed 45W rate would match last year’s S25 FE, exceed the base S26’s 25W, and sit below the S26 Ultra’s 60W, which positions the FE as a higher-charging ‘flagship-lite’ option within Samsung’s lineup.
  • Samsung is expected to follow its usual September launch cadence for the S26 FE, but reporters warn that global memory shortages and rising component costs could push retail prices higher and some projections have suggested significant increases.
