  • The Centre granted approval for the ₹7,000 crore Capital Region Ring Road connecting Rameswaram in Khurda to Tangi in Cuttack, pending Cabinet clearance.
  • A ₹1,200 crore six-lane upgrade of the Bhubaneswar–Puri road was also sanctioned to enhance connectivity in the region.
  • Gadkari emphasized Odisha's ₹2 lakh crore infrastructure pipeline, with ₹60,000 crore completed, ₹60,000 crore ongoing, and ₹75,000 crore in advanced planning stages.
