Gachiakuta Anime Adaptation to Premiere on Crunchyroll in July 2025

The dystopian shonen series, produced by Bones Film, will feature graffiti-inspired visuals and an intense revenge-driven story.

Gachiakuta, based on Kei Urana and Hideyoshi Andou's manga, will debut exclusively on Crunchyroll in July 2025, with streaming available worldwide except in Belarus, Russia, and most of Asia.
The anime is produced by Bones Film, known for acclaimed series like My Hero Academia and Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, with first-time series director Fumihiko Suganuma at the helm.
The story follows Rudo, a falsely accused outcast battling monstrous trash beasts in the dystopian abyss of The Pit, as he seeks vengeance and truth.
The series features a unique graffiti-inspired art style, developed in collaboration with graffiti artist Hideyoshi Andou, giving it a distinct urban aesthetic.
The creative team includes Hiroshi Seko (Jujutsu Kaisen, Chainsaw Man) for series composition, Satoshi Ishino (Date A Live) for character design, and Taku Iwasaki (Bungo Stray Dogs) for music composition.
