Fuvest Opens Registration for USP 2027 Vestibular

Overview

• Fuvest began accepting applications Monday, Aug. 17, with registration open until Oct. 9, a R$228 fee, and required documents including CPF, photo ID, a recent photograph, email and address.
• The selection offers 8,147 undergraduate places with a quota breakdown of 4,888 for general competition, 2,053 reserved for public-school students, and 1,206 for public-school students who self-declare as black, brown or indigenous.
• The first phase will be held on Nov. 1 using a revised multiple-choice booklet of 80 questions within the same five-hour window, with results due Nov. 23 and the second phase scheduled for Dec. 6–7 featuring a redaction, 10 discursive Portuguese questions and 12 subject-specific discursive questions.
• Fortaleza (CE) was added as a new test center after Fuvest ran local simulados there to test logistics, a move intended to cut travel time for Northeast candidates; candidates who received fee waivers still must complete the online registration form by the deadline.
• Fuvest published a mandatory reading list of nine books all by women and coordinated its calendar with other national and state exams to reduce scheduling conflicts while instructing applicants to request any accessibility adaptations at registration following the institution's Inclusion Guide.
