Fusión 2026 Confirmed for September on Lima’s Costa Verde

An immersive ají exhibit is designed to highlight Peru’s culinary identity to support local businesses.

Overview

  • Organizers América Multimedia set the fair for 3–6 September at the Explanada de la Costa Verde and plan a footprint of more than 30,000 square meters.
  • The event will bring roughly 60 restaurants and huariques together across six themed ‘worlds’ offering food stalls, live concerts and family activities.
  • A central attraction called “Nuestro Ají, donde nace el sabor” will showcase the history and varieties of the Peruvian ají and feature the mascot Fito el Ajicito developed with the Asociación Ajíes del Perú.
  • The festival will let the public nominate local huariques and restaurants via official social channels and will run contests and other audience engagement dynamics.
  • Organizers say Fusión aims to become an annual family tradition that boosts cultural tourism and generates economic activity for small food businesses and vendors.
