Bryce Stanfield, a beloved member of the Furman University football team, passed away after a medical emergency during a workout.

Bryce Stanfield, a 21-year-old defensive tackle for Furman University, died following a medical emergency during a workout session.
Stanfield was on life support before his passing, surrounded by family, friends, and teammates at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
He was posthumously awarded a bachelor of science degree in health sciences, magna cum laude, by Furman University.
Services to honor Stanfield's life are planned in both South Carolina and Georgia, with the Furman community encouraged to participate.
Stanfield was remembered for his impact on and off the field, including his community service and academic achievements.
