• LG AI Research granted final approval to FuriosaAI’s RNGD accelerator after a seven-month evaluation of its performance and efficiency
• FuriosaAI’s RNGD chip delivered 2.25 times better inference performance per watt than competing GPUs on LG’s EXAONE large-language models
• This partnership represents FuriosaAI’s first major commercial deployment since rejecting Meta’s $800 million acquisition offer in March
• Deployments will target electronics, finance, telecommunications and biotechnology applications through the EXAONE platform
• FuriosaAI plans to seek additional RNGD-powered contracts in the United States, the Middle East and Southeast Asia in the second half of 2025
