Overview
- Pádraig McDonald, a 20-year-old from Loughmacrory, died after a three-vehicle collision on Drum Road near Cookstown shortly before 12:40am on December 26.
- The incident involved an initial crash between a silver Volkswagen Golf and a black Volkswagen Golf, followed minutes later by a black Vauxhall Corsa colliding with one of the vehicles.
- Police said the five occupants of the silver Golf reported injuries, with one late-teen sustaining life-changing injuries and another suffering serious facial injuries.
