Funeral Home Owner Shoots and Kills Pallbearer During 10-Year-Old Girl’s Burial Service

Wilson Chavis, owner of the funeral home service, confronted two people affiliated with a rival funeral home company with whom he had a long-standing dispute.
Chavis then opened fire, killing one man and grazing a woman.
The shooting took place during the burial service for 10-year-old Arianna Davis, who had recently been shot and killed.
Chavis has been charged with first-degree murder, second-degree murder, and attempted murder.
The violent incident is the latest in a disturbing trend of shootings at funeral homes and cemeteries.
