Overview

  • Patch 1.1.15.0 on July 7 mistakenly enabled PvP combat in PvE-designated areas of the Deep Desert, resulting in widespread base and equipment losses.
  • Funcom issued a formal apology and committed to delivering replacement vehicles, items and vehicle components via the in-game Claim Rewards tab by the end of the week.
  • The developer has overhauled internal development processes and communication workflows to prevent similar configuration errors in future updates.
  • Anti-exploit efforts have been stepped up with upgrades to client-server security, additional penetration testing, inventory system audits and waves of bans targeting hundreds of cheaters.
  • Affected players can submit in-game support tickets to recover assets lost to bugs, including Ornithopter disappearance glitches.
