A 20-kilometer detour will redirect all vehicles and cyclists; rain risks could extend the work beyond its two-week span.

Overview

  • The Staatsstraße 2071 corridor between Schäftlarn and Kloster Schäftlarn will shut completely from August 1 to 18 under a two-phase repair schedule.
  • Phase 1 runs August 1–2 and includes milling and resurfacing of a 60-meter stretch near the Kloster Schäftlarn bus stop.
  • Phase 2, from August 4 to 18, involves a 60-meter full-depth rebuild with geogrid and improved drainage plus a new surface on an additional 40 meters between the Staatsstraße 2571 junction and the Mariengrotte.
  • A signed detour via Straßlach, Grünwald and Baierbrunn spans roughly 20 kilometers and must be used by all motor vehicles and bicycles.
  • Work is confined to summer school holidays with Saturday shifts to speed completion, though the Staatliche Bauamt Freising cautions that bad weather may cause delays.
