- Cheshire Police confirmed Kieran Cameron, 43, was arrested in the Hulme area of Greater Manchester following a search.
- Cameron had been declared unlawfully at large after leaving HMP Thorn Cross, a Category D open prison in Warrington, on Tuesday evening.
- He is serving a 23-year sentence for an attempted murder in Poole, Dorset, in 2016, where a 22-year-old man was stabbed around 10 times.
