Fugitive Drug Dealer Lynne Leyson Arrested After 16 Months on the Run
Leyson, convicted of leading a family drug ring, was apprehended near her Carmarthenshire farm and has begun her nine-year sentence.
- Lynne Leyson, 53, was arrested at Pibwr Farm in Capel Dewi, Carmarthenshire, after evading capture for 16 months.
- Leyson was convicted in May 2023 for conspiracy to supply cocaine and cannabis, and possession of criminal property.
- She failed to appear for her sentencing in July 2023 and was sentenced in absentia to nine years in prison.
- Police found 592g of cocaine, 1.4kg of cannabis, £17,190 in cash, and a semi-automatic pistol during a raid on the farm in October 2021.
- Her husband Stephen and son Samson were also jailed in 2023 for their roles in the drug operation, receiving 11 and 6 years respectively.
