Fugitive Drug Dealer Lynne Leyson Arrested After 16 Months on the Run

Leyson, convicted of leading a family drug ring, was apprehended near her Carmarthenshire farm and has begun her nine-year sentence.

Lynne Leyson, 53, was arrested at Pibwr Farm in Capel Dewi, Carmarthenshire, after evading capture for 16 months.
Leyson was convicted in May 2023 for conspiracy to supply cocaine and cannabis, and possession of criminal property.
She failed to appear for her sentencing in July 2023 and was sentenced in absentia to nine years in prison.
Police found 592g of cocaine, 1.4kg of cannabis, £17,190 in cash, and a semi-automatic pistol during a raid on the farm in October 2021.
Her husband Stephen and son Samson were also jailed in 2023 for their roles in the drug operation, receiving 11 and 6 years respectively.
