Overview
- A high-volume gunfire exchange in the Barrio Ejército de los Andes (Fuerte Apache) left two people dead and four wounded in the Nudo 3–6 area, with the most intense fighting near Nudo 6 on Sunday night.
- Victims identified include T. G., 17, and R. Quispe, 36; the wounded include people aged 20, 18 and 17 plus an additional unconfirmed injured person, several with gunshot wounds to limbs.
- The Unidad Funcional de Instrucción N° 2 under fiscal Daniela D’Elía ordered autopsies, security-camera reviews and witness interviews and is actively processing videos gathered from neighbors and social media.
- Investigators are treating a working hypothesis that the attack stems from a narco turf fight between a group known as Los Fiolos and a faction linked to Villa Matienzo, though that link has not been proven.
- Police have reinforced patrols inside the complex but report no arrests so far, and the episode fits a pattern of repeated drug-related violence and large security operations previously carried out in Fuerte Apache.
