• At the Sept. 8 solemn mass in the sanctuary, Bishop Jesús Fernández urged action against gender violence, decried political polarization, and voiced sorrow over the wars in Ukraine and Gaza.
• The city delivered its pendón to the Virgen during the Cathedral liturgy, a blessed insignia to be incorporated into future cortejos and kept in her camarín.
• The Sept. 7 procession returned the image from the Mezquita‑Catedral to the sanctuary under capataz Fernando Chiachío, accompanied by Banda Caído y Fuensanta and Maestro Tejera, arriving around 23:45 to children's traditional campanitas.
• A youth traslado on Sept. 6 advanced the image toward the Cathedral in prayerful silence with the Rosary, led by capataz Luis Moreno along Agustín Moreno, Cardenal González and the Patio de los Naranjos.
