Overview

• A Kemerovo region resident was detained during the active synthesis of the drug, according to the regional FSB office.
• Officers seized more than 1.5 tonnes of precursors along with a reactor and other production equipment from the site.
• The suspect was placed in custody after a criminal case was opened under Part 3, Article 30 and Part 5, Article 228.1 of the Russian Criminal Code.
• The FSB says the production was intended for subsequent distribution within Russia by members spanning Kemerovo, Novosibirsk, Altai and Krasnoyarsk regions.
• Authorities released video from the operation showing the lab's shutdown and the materials recovered.
