FSA Issues Cluster of Food Recalls at Aldi, Home Bargains, Waitrose and Lidl Over Allergen and Metal Risks

  • Aldi has recalled Dairyfine Crispy Choc Um’s because the product may contain peanuts, covering all best-before dates under barcode 4061463833464.
  • TJ Morris, trading as Home Bargains, has removed Milka Hazelnut 90g, Milka Whole Nut 95g and Milka Oreo Brownie 100g after allergen details were not provided in English, posing risks to people with allergies to milk, hazelnuts, soya or wheat/gluten.
  • Waitrose has recalled THIS Isn’t Chicken Deli Pieces due to undeclared wheat (gluten) and soya, affecting batches 272 and 274 with use-by dates up to 13 November.
  • Lidl GB has recalled XXL Sondey Stroopwaffel with Caramel Flavour Filling & Butter over possible metal fragments, limited to 560g packs with best-before dates 21 November, 2 December and 3 December.
  • Ireland’s FSAI has recalled Rose Halloween Spooky Tea Cakes mispacked with egg-containing Rose Orchard Tea Cakes, covering best-before dates 28/08/26, 18/09/26, 22/09/26 and 24/09/26.
