Country Bear Jamboree to Close for Retheme, Sparking Mixed Reactions from Fans

Frontierland at Magic Kingdom Park is set to undergo significant changes, with the Country Bear Jamboree closing on January 27 for a retheme into the 'Country Bear Musical Jamboree', set to open this summer.
The new show will feature the same animatronics singing Disney tunes reinvented into various country music genres, including bluegrass, pop-country, Americana, and rockabilly.
Further changes include the transformation of Splash Mountain into 'Tiana’s Bayou Adventure', a log flume ride inspired by 'The Princess and the Frog' (2009), expected to open later this year.
Disney has hinted at more updates for Frontierland in the coming years, with some insiders suggesting a retheme into New Orleans Square to better fit with Tiana’s Bayou Adventure.
