FromSoftware Boosts Employee Salaries by 11.8% to Foster Positive Work Environment

The game developer aims to enhance employee satisfaction and attract new talent with increased pay starting April 2025.

FromSoftware will raise average salaries for current employees by approximately 11.8% beginning in April 2025.
The starting monthly salary for new graduates will increase from ¥260,000 ($1,775) to ¥300,000 ($2,050), marking a 15% rise.
The salary adjustments are part of FromSoftware's initiative to provide a stable income and a rewarding work environment.
Despite a 29% revenue decline last year, the company expects improvement with the success of Elden Ring's expansion, Shadow of the Erdtree.
The move follows a trend among Japanese game developers, including Capcom and Nintendo, who have also increased wages recently.
