Overview
- FromSoftware started distributing download codes on Tuesday, Aug. 18, allowing selected applicants to claim keys and begin preloading the Network Test build.
- The test client is roughly 3.8–4 GB and can be downloaded from the Nintendo eShop or the official Duskbloods account page by logging in with the Nintendo Account used for the application.
- Timed test sessions run in limited, intermittent windows from Aug. 21–24 with regional schedules published by Nintendo and FromSoftware.
- The Network Test is narrowly scoped to simulate high player load and measure server stability and balance, and it intentionally excludes solo and co-op modes while developers monitor for bugs.
- Players and dataminers have already begun extracting files from the beta and reporting leaks, which could shape early expectations ahead of the full game that FromSoftware still expects to release in 2026 without a confirmed date.
