Overview
- MGM+ officially announced on April 15, 2026 that From will return for a fifth season and that this will be the series’ final season.
- Production is scheduled to resume in Halifax, Nova Scotia in 2026, using the same Canadian locations that filmed earlier seasons.
- The original creative team, including creator John Griffin, director Jack Bender and showrunner Jeff Pinkner, will stay on to complete the story.
- Lead actor Harold Perrineau is expected to return, and the final season is being positioned to resolve the show’s long-running mythology rather than extend it indefinitely.
- A 2027 release window is projected by outlets but no exact premiere date has been announced, and the fifth season will have to close the major unresolved plotlines left by Season 4.
