Overview

  • Redemption and upgrade charts change on Nov 1, with most awards rising roughly 5%–20% depending on route and cabin, including a 5% increase to Europe and the US and 10%–20% to Africa, the Middle East and Turkey.
  • Within Asia and the South West Pacific, Economy Saver awards decrease by 5% while Business and First/Suites Saver awards rise by 5%, and most Advantage awards increase 10%–15% with higher increases in Zone 10 for premium cabins.
  • The revisions apply to Singapore Airlines, Star Alliance and partner carriers, and bookings ticketed by Oct 31 will be honored at current rates.
  • Access debuts Nov 1 as a demand-based option that lets members use miles for any cash-available SIA seat, with mileage required varying by seat demand and timing.
  • From Sep 1, members earn status credits from non-flight spending on Kris+, KrisShop and Pelago, with PPS members earning 1 PPS Value per S$3 and KrisFlyer members earning 1 Elite mile per S$1; industry analysts describe the overall changes as a devaluation and caution Access may price some premium seats very high.
