Frogwares Wins Legal Battle Over The Sinking City, Becomes Sole Publisher

The developer is set to release an updated version of the game and a new DLC, following resolution of a lengthy dispute with former publisher Nacon.

Frogwares, the developer of The Sinking City, has emerged victorious in a lengthy legal battle with former publisher Nacon, becoming the sole publisher of the game on all platforms.
The dispute, which began in 2020, involved allegations of withheld royalties, breach of contract, and disputes over IP ownership.
The game was removed from several platforms during the dispute, and an allegedly pirated version was briefly available on Steam.
An updated version of the game, including bug fixes and optimizations, is set to be released, but it will not be compatible with old save files.
Frogwares is also planning to release a new DLC, Merciful Madness, which will only be compatible with the new version of the game.
