Frieze Seoul Unveils 116 Galleries for September COEX Fair

This fourth edition expands its reach beyond COEX by partnering with Kiaf Seoul to integrate global galleries plus citywide art programs throughout September.

Overview

  • The fair’s fourth iteration is scheduled for September 3–6 at COEX Convention Center, featuring a preview day on September 3 and coinciding with Kiaf Seoul.
  • A total of 116 galleries from over 30 countries are confirmed to participate across three sections: Galleries, Focus Asia and Frieze Masters.
  • The main Galleries section will host 86 exhibitors, blending blue-chip stalwarts such as Gagosian, Hauser & Wirth and David Zwirner with 20 first-time participants.
  • Focus Asia will spotlight 10 solo presentations by emerging artists, while Frieze Masters offers 20 booths showcasing works from the Middle Ages to the 20th century.
  • Frieze Live, the Seoul Artist Award, film and music programs will activate venues across the city, with LG OLED returning as the headline partner.
