Overview
- Frida released Boogie Bites on Oct. 27 as sweet-and-sour gummies designed to look like boogers in three shapes and colors.
- The candies are available exclusively through GoPuff for $3.99 in select markets including New York City, Los Angeles, Houston, Chicago, Miami, Dallas, Boston and Philadelphia.
- Frida says the gummies contain no real boogers and lists conventional candy ingredients such as tapioca syrup, sugar, pectin and natural colors.
- The launch serves as a playful tie-in to the NoseFrida device used to help clear congestion in babies and young children.
- The stunt follows Frida’s earlier breast milk–flavored ice cream made with OddFellows, which the company said contained no human milk and is no longer on sale.
