Freshman Magoon Gwath Shines as No. 24 San Diego State Defeats Fresno State 84-62

San Diego State's 7-foot freshman Magoon Gwath recorded career highs with 25 points and 10 rebounds, shooting 10 of 13 from the floor and adding three three-pointers.
The Aztecs improved to 5-2 on the season and extended their winning streak against Fresno State to 11 games, including seven straight on the Bulldogs' home court.
After a slow start, San Diego State pulled away in the second half, shooting 58% from the field after halftime compared to Fresno State's 27% for the game.
BJ Davis and Wayne McKinney III contributed 13 and 12 points respectively, while Fresno State's Mykell Robinson led his team with 20 points and 10 rebounds.
San Diego State will host the University of San Diego on Saturday, followed by a non-conference matchup against Cal Baptist on December 11.
