Overview

• Srisailam received 235,587 cusecs on Saturday and released 199,171 cusecs, holding 210.03 tmc ft against a full level of 215.8 tmc ft.
• Upstream inputs remain strong with Sunkesula releasing 65,450 cusecs and Jurala sending roughly 1.19–1.22 lakh cusecs into Srisailam.
• Hydropower discharges continue with 30,695 cusecs through the Andhra Pradesh powerhouse and 35,315 cusecs through the Telangana powerhouse.
• Gajuladinne in Kurnool is nearly full for the first time in three years, with three gates lifted and 10,000 cusecs sent downstream; the reservoir holds 4.28 tmc ft out of 4.5 tmc ft.
• Separately, Somasila reported 32,971 cusecs inflow and 13,400 cusecs outflow on Sunday as the minister initiated releases to the Penna, announcing 20 tmc to canals and plans to fill Kandaleru in about 15 days.
