French Marathon Record Holder Morhad Amdouni Faces Domestic Violence Charges

  • Amdouni's arrest followed a dispute with his wife, reportedly after she discovered his infidelity, during which she claims he attempted to strangle her in front of their son.
  • Previously, Amdouni set a new French marathon record in February 2024 but missed the Paris Olympic marathon due to a calf injury.
