French General Overseeing Notre Dame Restoration Dies in Hiking Accident

General Jean-Louis Georgelin, 74, died in an accident while hiking in the Pyrenees mountains.
He was appointed by President Macron to lead the Notre Dame Cathedral reconstruction after the 2019 fire.
