- Credit dates vary by bank: Crédit Agricole, Crédit Mutuel, Caisse d’Épargne, Banque Postale, Banque Populaire, CIC and Fortuneo pay Dec. 31–Jan. 1, BNP Paribas and BoursoBank on Jan. 2, and Société Générale on Jan. 6, with LCL yet to announce.
- Livret A’s rate fell from 3% to 2.4% in February and to 1.7% in August, reducing the annual yield credited for 2025.
- Estimated Livret A interest comes to about €161 for an average €7,482 balance and roughly €495 at the €22,950 cap.
- For other regulated products, LDDS pays up to ~€259 at its €12,000 cap, LEP about €321 at its €10,000 cap or ~€222 at the average balance, PEL about €750 net at the €61,200 cap at 1.75%, and CEL about €150 net at the €15,300 cap after its cut to 1.25%.
- Forecasts indicate Livret A could edge down to roughly 1.4%–1.5% on Feb. 1, 2026 with a possible move to ~1.6% in August, as 2025 saw a €3.58 billion Livret A outflow and continued strength in life insurance with assets at €2.1 trillion.
