  • NWS Marquette’s Freeze Warning runs from midnight to 10 a.m. EDT Wednesday for inland U.P. counties including Baraga, Delta, Dickinson, Iron, Marquette, Menominee, Gogebic, Ontonagon and southern Houghton, with lows near 28°F away from the Great Lakes.
  • A Frost Advisory covers parts of lower Michigan from 3 a.m. to 8 a.m. EDT Wednesday for Lake, Osceola, Clare, Newaygo, Mecosta and Isabella counties, where temperatures may dip to 32°F. A Freeze Watch is posted for northern Michigan from 8 p.m. Wednesday to 5 a.m. Thursday for Emmet, Leelanau, Antrim, Benzie, Grand Traverse, Manistee and Charlevoix counties, with 25–30°F possible.
  • The weather service warns that frost and freeze conditions can kill sensitive vegetation and damage unprotected outdoor plumbing, urging residents to cover or move plants and drain, wrap or slowly drip exterior lines.
