A free demo of the game has been released on the Nintendo Switch eShop, featuring four levels from the first world.
The demo includes a new two-player mode and adjustable difficulty settings.
Charles Martinet, the original voice of Mario, will be heard in this game, despite being replaced by Kevin Afghani in new games.
The game is a 2D platformer with puzzle elements, where Mario tries to retrieve Mini Mario toys stolen by Donkey Kong.
