Freddie Mercury's piano, costumes, and handwritten lyrics to be auctioned after exhibition

More than 1,400 of Freddie Mercury's personal items will be exhibited at Sotheby's London before being auctioned.
The collection includes costumes, artwork, furniture, and handwritten song lyrics and had been preserved by Mercury's friend Mary Austin.
Highlights are Mercury's Yamaha piano, expected to sell for £2-3 million, and his famous crown and cloak costume.
The free exhibition runs until September 5th, followed by a series of auctions later that month.
The collection provides insight into Mercury's life and work as the legendary frontman of Queen.
