Fraudsters Open Fake SBI Branch in Chhattisgarh, Duping Villagers

A fake bank branch in Chhapora village was discovered after locals became suspicious, leading to police intervention.

The fake SBI branch was set up by fraudsters in Chhapora village, Sakti district, around 250 km from Raipur.
Six individuals were hired with fake job offers, believing they were employed by India's largest bank.
Villagers were invited to open accounts and conduct transactions, unaware of the scam.
The scheme was uncovered when a local, Ajay Kumar Agarwal, reported suspicions to the nearest legitimate SBI branch.
Police have identified three key suspects and are investigating the extent of the fraud.
