Muniz, 38, has been racing part-time and previously competed in the ARCA Menards Series, where he finished fourth in the standings in 2023.
The decision marks a significant career shift from acting to professional racing, a dream Muniz has pursued since his early interest in motorsports.
He will drive the No. 33 Ford F-150 truck, with More Core Diamond Drilling Services & Nugget Trap as primary sponsors for 10 races.
