Frankie Muniz, known for his role in 'Malcolm in the Middle,' will attempt to make his NASCAR Xfinity Series debut at Daytona International Speedway.
Muniz has a history in motorsports, starting with a Toyota Pro/Celebrity Race in 2004 and finishing fourth in the ARCA Menards Series last season.
He will be driving the No. 35 Ford Performance Ford Mustang for Joey Gase Motorsports in a limited schedule throughout the 33-race season.
The team has secured the 25th place owner points for Muniz, enhancing his chances to qualify for his first NASCAR national series start.
