Overview
- The exhibition “OMEN Club Frankfurt 1988–1998 – New Electronic Ecstasy” is open at Frankfurt’s Museum Of Modern Electronic Music and runs through March 29, 2026.
- More than 100 photos, original flyers and wall illustrations, the club’s original mixing desk, video installations, and VR experiences reconstruct the venue’s look and sound.
- Museum director Alex Azary says the team set out to recreate the original atmosphere of the famed techno club.
- The show was assembled over roughly six months and expanded through donated materials and loans from private collections.
- A second vernissage with an Omen-style after-party is planned, with former resident DJs Frank Lorber, Toni Rios, Pauli Steinbach, and Dag Lerner performing, while founder Sven Väth has praised the project but is not confirmed to appear.
