Frankfurt’s Museumsuferfest Opens Friday With 28 Museums, 14 Stages and Thailand as Guest Country

Overview

  • The festival runs August 29–31, with programs starting at 15:00 on Friday and 11:00 on Saturday and Sunday, and Mayor Mike Josef set to open the event at 18:00 on Friday.
  • Twenty-eight museums participate under the focal theme “100 Jahre Neues Frankfurt,” with a €7 Museumsuferfest button granting entry to all houses throughout the weekend.
  • Along both banks of the Main, visitors will find 14 stages and more than 400 stalls spanning a 5.6‑kilometre route.

  • Thailand appears as guest country with the MainThailandFest featuring cultural performances and professional Muay Thai bouts, and the festival concludes Sunday at 22:00 with a music-synchronized fireworks display.
