Frankfurt Triumphs Over Mannheim in Record-Breaking DEL Winter Game

Over 45,000 fans witnessed the Löwen Frankfurt secure a decisive 5-1 victory against Adler Mannheim in the sixth outdoor DEL Winter Game.

The Löwen Frankfurt defeated Adler Mannheim 5-1 in the DEL Winter Game held at Frankfurt's football stadium, marking their third derby win against Mannheim this season.
The event drew a record-breaking 45,110 spectators, including 10,000 Mannheim fans, making it the most attended DEL Winter Game to date.
Frankfurt's goals came from Daniel Wirt, Cameron Brace, Dennis Lobach, Maxim Matuschkin, and Linus Fröberg, with Mannheim's lone goal scored by Matthias Plachta late in the game.
The match featured an extensive pre-game program, including performances by singer Michael Schulte and an ice football match with Eintracht Frankfurt legends like Charly Körbel.
This was the first outdoor DEL Winter Game for Frankfurt, while Mannheim participated for the third time, continuing the league's decade-long tradition of hosting outdoor games.
