• FLK members called for an open, outcome-neutral evaluation of all realistic flight path options before any implementation steps occur.
• The proposed changes would shift additional flights onto northwest departure routes used during west-wind operations on about 70 percent of days.
• Fraport and Deutsche Flugsicherung are now expected to revisit their concept in light of projections of rising traffic to 560,000 annual movements by 2033.
