France's TNT Channels Reshuffled: News Networks Grouped, France 4 Takes Channel 4

Starting June 6, France's TNT will feature a reorganized channel lineup, including a dedicated news block and France 4's move to a prime position.

  • The Arcom has announced a new channel lineup for France's TNT, effective June 6, with significant changes to improve accessibility and thematic grouping.
  • BFMTV, CNews, LCI, and Franceinfo will form a dedicated news block on channels 13 through 16, consolidating all major news networks in one section for easier access.
  • France 4 will move from channel 14 to channel 4, replacing Canal+ as part of a reorganization that aligns public channels in a logical sequence from 2 to 5.
  • Channels C8 and NRJ12 will cease broadcasting on February 28, freeing up channels 8 and 12, which will be reallocated to LCP/Public Sénat and Gulli, respectively.
  • Two new channels, CMI TV and OFTV, will debut on channels 18 and 19, with CMI launching in June and OFTV starting in September.
