  • France Télévisions said an external party tampered with its Île-de-France cooling system on June 20–21, knocking out servers for its main channels including France 2, France 3, France 4, France 5 and franceinfo.
  • The malfunction damaged part of the production equipment and halted live broadcasts around midnight.
  • Franceinfo resumed live transmission at 10 a.m. on June 21 from an alternate studio, with normal production conditions restored by June 22.
  • The broadcaster clarified that the outage was unrelated to a resolved Legionella contamination detected and treated in September 2024.
  • France TV filed an official complaint on June 23 and French authorities have begun investigating the scope and motives of the sabotage.
